Prof. Dr. Selim İsbir said, ‘ Aortic aneurysm is a life-threatening and very serious disease that is insidious and often unresponsive. It is more common in men who smoke and who are older than 60 years of age with high blood pressure. ‘
Prof. Dr. İsbir explained that said that aortic aneurysm is a very important health problem in people who have a history of aneurysm in their families and also for the older people who smoke.
İsbir reported that the disease can lead to fatal complications if not treated, and the aortic aneurysm can be defined as the enlargement of the aorta which runs the blood supply from heart to the body.
