The Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) continues to educate the public with a new series of webinars conducted via Zoom. The first webinar was moderated by our Board Member, Mr. Hüseyin Başusta.

The inaugural guest of the webinar was our Board Member, Dr. Cenker Zeki Koyuncuoğlu. Dr. Koyuncuoğlu’s presentation, titled “Effects of Cigarettes on Oral and Dental Health and the COVID-19 Process,” thoroughly examined the adverse effects of smoking on oral and dental health. He also shared up-to-date information on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted these effects.

Participants had the opportunity to gain insights into the health risks of smoking and learn about the precautions necessary to protect oral and dental health during the COVID-19 process. The webinar was closely followed by attendees and facilitated a productive exchange of information.
