On October 15, 2020, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) organized a webinar on the topic of “Environment, Human Health, and the Harm of Cigarettes.” The webinar was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Zeliha Sunal and featured a presentation by Dr. Menekşe Kılıçarslan, Director of the Environmental and Human Health Center at Istanbul Aydın University.

During the seminar, Dr. Kılıçarslan provided a comprehensive examination of the relationship between the environment, human health, and the harms of smoking. The session covered the environmental impacts of cigarettes and the negative consequences for human health.
