On November 23, 2020, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) organized a webinar on the topic of “The Harmful Effects of Cigarettes on Hearing.” The webinar was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Zeliha Sunal and featured Dr. İnci Adalı, a faculty member in the Audiology Department at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Health Sciences, as the speaker.

During the seminar, Dr. Adalı provided a detailed examination of the harmful effects of smoking on hearing. Information was shared with participants about the negative impacts of cigarette smoke on hearing health and how to prevent these effects.

The event was well-received by participants, raising awareness about the impact of smoking on hearing health. The webinar emphasized the importance of information sharing to protect hearing health from the harmful effects of smoking.
