On December 15, 2020, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) organized a webinar on the topic of “Cigarettes and Occupational Safety.” The webinar was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Zeliha Sunal and featured Dr. Yücel Karakuş, a faculty member in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program at Işık University, as the speaker.

During the seminar, Dr. Karakuş provided a comprehensive examination of the effects of smoking on occupational safety. Information was shared with participants about the safety risks associated with smoking in the workplace and its negative impacts on employee health.
