On January 18, 2021, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) held a webinar titled “The Harmful Effects of Tobacco Products and Raising Awareness Among Youth.” The session was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Zeliha Sunal and featured TSSD Executive Board President Prof. Dr. Melahat Dönmez and Dr. İnci Adalı, a faculty member in the Department of Audiology at Istanbul Aydın University, as the guest speakers.

During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Dönmez and Dr. Adalı provided a comprehensive overview of the harmful effects of tobacco products and their particular impact on youth. The discussion emphasized the importance of raising awareness among young people about the risks associated with tobacco use and strategies for protecting them from these harms.
