On January 28, 2021, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) hosted a webinar titled “The Harmful Effects of Tobacco Products on Eye Health.” The session was moderated by TSSD Executive Board President Prof. Dr. Melahat Dönmez and featured Prof. Dr. Haluk Esgin, an ophthalmologist at Acıbadem Taksim Hospital, as the guest speaker.

In the seminar, Prof. Dr. Esgin provided a comprehensive overview of the detrimental effects of tobacco products on eye health. The discussion focused on how cigarette smoke adversely impacts eye health and measures to mitigate these effects.
