On March 4, 2021, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) organized a webinar titled “Substance and Alcohol Addiction.” The session was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Zeliha Sunal and featured Dr. Özgür Sağlam from the Department of Social Services at Istanbul Aydın University’s Faculty of Health Sciences as the guest speaker.

During the seminar, Dr. Sağlam provided a comprehensive overview of substance and alcohol addiction. The discussion covered the health effects of addiction, treatment methods, and the social implications of substance abuse.
