On August 20, 2021, we continued our “One Tree is the Whole Nation” Instagram live broadcasts with a session moderated by Zeliha Sunal, Vice President of the Turkish Association for Combating Tobacco, and guest speaker Serhat Yılmaz, Coordinator at the Disaster Education Application and Research Center.

In this live broadcast, we explored the topic of “Resilient Communities Against Disasters.” Serhat Yılmaz discussed the key components of building resilient communities and the importance of preparedness and education in mitigating the impacts of disasters. The conversation also covered practical strategies for enhancing community resilience and the role of individual and collective actions in disaster management.
