The Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking, Istanbul Aydın University Environmental and Human Health Center, IAU Clubs Union, Mustafa Aydın Foundation, and Green Homeland Platform successfully organized the “Addiction Seminar” on May 14, 2024, as part of the “Breath Without Cigarettes” project. The seminar took place at 11:00 AM in the Mavi Hall, Block D, Florya Campus of Istanbul Aydın University.

The seminar focused on strategies for combating addiction and the social impacts of addiction. Mr. Fatih Numan Turan, Social Services Specialist from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Dr. Beyza Naz Deniz, Assistant Professor from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Aydın University, were the guest speakers.

Participants had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about effective approaches to addiction and its societal effects. The event provided valuable information and raised awareness on this critical issue.
