The “Seminar on the True Face of Smoking” held at TRT World Istanbul Regional Directorate, as part of the special activities for November 20th, World Quit Smoking Day, was realized through the efforts of our Board Member, Mr. Ubeyd Korbey. The seminar addressed topics such as the harmful effects of smoking on human health, the process of addiction formation, and the benefits of quitting smoking.

Participants were provided with detailed information on the diseases caused by smoking, as well as the social and economic impacts of tobacco use. Additionally, guidance on methods for quitting smoking and resources available to support individuals in this process were provided.
